Principal Responsibilities:

  • Work with the founders and other consultants to lead and execute payments-specific consulting projects for technology companies, acquirers, ISOs, banks, card brands and other players. Projects will primarily focus on payment facilitator operations, including, but not be limited to, creating and delivering:
    • Policies and procedures in specific niche areas
    • Implementation work with product managers
    • Compliance cases (including card brands, regulatory, etc.)
    • Ongoing execution of projects based on our customers’ needs
    • RFIs and RFPs
      • Comparison Grids, including pricing
      • PowerPoint Summaries
      • Recommendations when necessary
  • Collect and document requirements and specifications for new projects
  • Create project plans including timelines and budgets
  • Conduct gap analysis between client environment and project goals
  • Research non-US payment rules and regulations relating to both government and payment brands
  • Update and maintain internal and external information matrix and grids, PowerPoints and other documentation
  • Deliver presentations as necessary
  • Project Management, work with internal and external teams on multiple concurrent projects
  • Manage multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication

Secondary Responsibilities (Optional, and only if within the incumbent’s skillset):

  • Work with the founders and other consultants to lead and execute other payments-specific consulting projects including, but not limited to:
    • Strategy
    • Business cases
    • Go To Market o Product analyses
    • Vendor analyses

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge in the Payments Industry, specifically the acceptance and acquiring portion of the payments value chain
  • Sound judgment, strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to independently make accurate decisions
  • Efficiency and ability to take ownership of results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Understanding of business analysis principles, processes, and techniques
  • Solid knowledge of all Microsoft products
  • Must be a self-directed, self-sufficient analyst with demonstrated initiative and sense of urgency
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher is a plus
