diversity INFINICEPT

Our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

We, at Infinicept, are wholly committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion because we believe people from different backgrounds with varying life experiences will be able to provide new perspectives that help refine and enhance our work processes. We believe the more diverse voices there are in our organization, the better our outcomes will be.

According to a poll from *NPR (conducted back in Q4 of 2021), the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, 1 in 4 Asian Americans feared — in the past months — that members of their household would be attacked or threatened because of their race or ethnicity. More than 20% of Native American and Black households also expressed this fear.

We at Infinicept stand in solidarity with our fellow Americans and the minority ethnic community in the fight for basic human rights and, beyond that, in the fight for fair and equitable treatment for all human beings.

We may have fallen short in centering anti-racist actions in our training process, hiring, and community outreach, but we can say with conviction that we have been working very hard to develop an inclusive workplace as our company grows. We do not have all the answers, but we know that everyone can and must do better. For us, that starts with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion training and education for our employees, as well as starting an internal anti-racism task force that will allow us to take further steps to be a truly equitable and inclusive organization.

The racism that exists in our world did not appear yesterday and it will not disappear overnight. For too long, the responsibility of fighting racism has fallen on the shoulders of those with the least resources and power. Today, Infinicept stands proudly in support and solidarity with global movements such as Black Lives Matter and Stop Asian Hate. Another big priority for us is around gender, LGBT+, and disabilities. In addition to addressing racial equity and topics of systemic racism, we will also continue our work around improving inclusion for employees with disabilities, empowering women, and increasing generational diversity.

As we reflect on the past and educate ourselves to improve the future, we will keep our community updated with what Infinicept’s anti-racist commitments are to maximize our individual and collective impact. But without a doubt, we stand united against racism.
